				Welcome to the SCIT Project Web site. This page provides information about the Scholarly Communication and Information Technology Project, and access to resources and research about the changing nature of science and scholarly communication in an increasingly information-centered and technology-mediated society. Some key questions that this project attempts to grapple with include: How can diverse scholarly communities enhance communication effectively and sustainably using new communications technologies? What are the costs and complexities associated with developing and maintaining a forum for scientific communication? What kinds of architectures of communications forums are most sustainable in different scientific communities? Does "one size fit all" or will different scholarly communities adopt different communications forum architectures? Please browse the pages of this site, including the project publications!
