World Culture at Indiana University

International Support Services at Indiana University
Indiana University has an active international community, which provides a variety of community services for international students. Some special programs include:
Bloomington-Worldwide
Friendship
Bloomington-Worldwide Friendship, Inc. (BWF) is an all-volunteer, non-profit,
community-based organization that provides programs and services to international
students studying at Indiana University Bloomington. Through Friends programs,
international students can meet and form friendships with members of the local
community.
Coffee
Hours
The International Center hosts coffee hours, on Fridays from 4 to 6 p.m., to
provide a way to celebrate the variety of cultures in the Indiana University
community and to bring individuals from diverse backgrounds together in an informal
setting.

Center
The Leo R. Dowling International Center is located at 111 S. Jordan Avenue. Services
include: weekly coffee hours, room rentals, tax advising for foreign nationals,
health insurance advising, weekly orientation & visa assistance sessions, academic
seminars, career and employment seminars, international career and employment,
etc.
