The College of Charleston in Charleston, SC is seeking a Webmaster to join our Web Strategies team. The successful candidate will ensure that the College's online presence accurately portrays the character, quality and heritage of the College of Charleston, provides its constituents with a complete and efficient user experience, and serves to increase recruitment and financial contributions

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and at least three years of demonstrated experience in web design, development and production, search engine optimization, web accessibility and usability, web analytics, and web security. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Expert knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, PHP, content management systems, search engine optimization, web analytics, Section 508 compliance, web accessibility and usability, web security, and rich media. Competence using Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, and Illustrator. Proficient in configuration and maintenance of Linux, Apache, Microsoft IIS, Windows and Mac OSX. Some knowledge of SQL, Java, and Perl is required. Experience administering and supporting WordPress MU, Quicktime Streaming Server, Flash Media Server, Urchin Web Analytics, Hannon Hill Cascade Server, and SunGard Higher Education Luminis portal preferred.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
Overnight travel may occasionally be required for professional development. Minimal after hours support possible.
