The Ripon Public Library in Ripon, Wisconsin (population: 7,619) is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Adult Services Librarian. Responsibilities include collection development and maintenance, young adult and adult programming, and promotion of library services to the community. Flexible schedule consists of occasional nights and weekends, including Sundays. ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library Science required. Proficiency with computers and strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Starting salary $36,754 plus excellent benefits.

An annual budget of $508,000 is supplemented by funds from an active Friends of the Library organization and an endowment fund. Circulation in 2008 was 154,000, collection size 58,000 items, open 63 hours per week, staff of 7.6 FTE.
