What is OneStart?

OneStart is a web-based portal. Registration Services are found on this page. Students can log on from any computer on or off campus to register for classes. The process is FREE for initial registration and for schedule adjustment 2 working days after initial registration. Any schedule adjustment after the 2 working days will assess a $8.00 schedule adjustment fee.

What will I need to register using OneStart?

1. Network ID and Passphrase to login to system - To set up an IU Network ID and Passphrase go to http://itaccounts.iu.edu.
   • More Accounts Details.
2. Registration Time - Check your registration time through OneStart. After login, click the "More" button to find "Self-Service". In Self Service click "My Registration Appointment".

3. University ID Number
   In "Self Service," click on "Personal Information."
4. Check the SLIS Schedule of Classes - Review course offerings. Note preferred courses, course numbers, and the 6-digit code under the course number. Some courses will need authorization. These notes will help you as you register. (Re-check the SLIS website before you arrive for any class room or time changes.)

6. Register for Classes - From the OneStart Login:
   1. Choose "More" tab
   2. Click on "Self-Service"
   3. Go to Registration Services box and click "Register For Classes"
   4. VERY CAREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
