MLS Digital Libraries Specialization
This Specialization builds on SLIS's experience with the Digital Libraries Education Program (DLEP) that was funded for two years by the Institute of Museum and Library Studies (IMLS). There is strong, ongoing interest in digital libraries as a career track for students in both masters degree programs. SLIS graduates with the mix of analytic and technical skills identified by the label digital libraries have been in high demand. Therefore, the school created this Digital Libraries Specialization Digital Libraries Specialization for students in the Master of Information Science and Master of Library Science programs.
