SLIS Graduate Non-Degree

SLIS offers a registration option for individuals who are not admitted to a degree program. This option has been primarily used by people wanting to explore the MLS or MIS degree options (but who have not yet been admitted), or by working professionals wanted to update their education. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree to apply.

Students may take SLIS S401 - Computer-Based Information Tools (a pre-requisite course), and up to six credit hours, prior to admission - that if admitted to the MLS or MIS - would count towards the degree.

To be set up to register, a student should first Apply Online. Select the SLIS Graduate Non-Degree option.
