Holiday shoppers spent an estimated $21.7 billion online during November and December, up 26% from the same period a year earlier, according to a report from the National Retail Federation.
The Retail Sales Outlook report also found that the increase in overall holiday sales for 2006 Åc was about 4.4% -- just under the federationÅfs 5% growth estimate. In 2005, holiday sales overall rose 6.1%.
