Course Objectives
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify the distinguishing characteristics and organization of the various types
of information and res
- Search, use, and critically evaluate social science literature and secondary social
science information resources and services;
- Understand the current theories, methods, issues, and topics in the social sciences
which affect the creation, dissemination, and uses of social science literature and
resources; and
- Understand the information needs, uses, and communication patterns of social
scientists and other us ers of the social science literature.
