Develop and expand the Indianapolis program and distance education delivery potential; Professor of Library Science and Director of School Library Media Education, 2001-present. Growth in Indianapolis program: from two to nine fulltime faculty; from 130 MLS students in 2000 to 320 as of fall 2003.

Teaching Award for Distance Learning Development, 1997-99. Interactive video across seven sites in Indiana; Bloomington, Indianapolis, Richmond, Evansville, Fort Wayne, South Bend, Gary.
L552 Audio and Video Information. Developed in 1988. Now taught at Bloomington and Indianapolis as a reference information course with a video production component.
L551 Information Inquiry for School Teachers. Developed in 1992. Taught each Fall term over the interactive video system through the Indiana Virtual Classrooms. In-depth work with a variety of information literacy models and processes. School of Education has adopted as a required course for certification of Teachers in Library Media.
L553 The School Media Specialist. Management of school media programs. Taught each Spring over the interactive video system through the Indiana Virtual Classroom.
L554 Information User Education (Bibliographic Instruction). Targets the undergraduate library and the development of full programs for teaching information search and use. Eighty percent of those who have completed this course have taken a position as an educator in bibliographic instruction and reference services.
