Professional Interests
Sarah joined SLIS/BL in April, 1998. She is responsible for budgetary and financial activities for university and foundation accounts at SLIS. She oversees administrative areas including purchases, payroll, appointments, and internal financial tranactions. She also serves as SLIS Alumni Coordinator and is Director of Development. As Coordinator she arramges events for SLIS alumni at major conferences (e.g., ALA, AALL, MLA, SLA, SAA). As Development Director she works closely with IU Foundation Research Analyst Vicky Martin on current Indiana University fundraising campaigns on behalf of SLIS.
She is a member of the Business Officer's Group (BOG) at IUB, Development Council, Bloomington Professional Alumni Forum, and the University Club.
Sarah has worked at IUB since 1981. Prior to coming to SLIS, she worked in the Geological Sciences and Chemistry Departments, and at the Law Library.
