Below is an image that you can use to set up an image map for your assignment (if you don't want to make your own). link each image to a different document.
If you download this image, you should use a graphics program to figure out the coordinates yourself. However, I'm in a good mood, so here are the coordinates:
First, the easy one. Here's the book (which is a rectangle):
| Upper left | x=33 | y=40 |
|---|---|---|
| Lower right | x=65 | y=74 |
Now here's the skull (which is a circle):
| Center | x=207 | y=81 |
|---|---|---|
| Circumference | r=207 | y=118 |
| Radius | r=37 |
Here's "Bob" (clearly a polygon with lots of angles - 18 to be exact):
| Angle 1 | x=82 | y=130 | Angle 2 | x=99 | y=149 | Angle 3 | x=118 | y=131 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Angle 4 | x=121 | y=158 | Angle 5 | x=143 | y=157 | Angle 6 | x=120 | y=190 |
| Angle 7 | x=138 | y=220 | Angle 8 | x=109 | y=212 | Angle 9 | x=99 | y=232 |
| Angle 10 | x=84 | y=214 | Angle 11 | x=71 | y=228 | Angle 12 | x=67 | y=198 |
| Angle 13 | x=48 | y=213 | Angle 14 | x=54 | y=179 | Angle 15 | x=43 | y=170 |
| Angle 16 | x=64 | y=163 | Angle 17 | x=50 | y=142 | Angle 18 | x=74 | y=151 |
Finally, here's the default (which defines the sections of the image that will not cause the browser to take any actions when people click there). Remember, it could just as easily take people to another page if you fill in a page address where the <nohref> is in the map file markup
| Upper left | x=0 | y=0 |
|---|---|---|
| Lower right | x=287 | y=287 |
You're welcome. Now go back from whence you came.
Unless you need another working example.
