SLIS Students
SLIS students are a dynamic and diverse group. Students come to SLIS with degrees from nearly every academic discipline: music to biochemistry, French to math, art history to education. Every major is welcome. Read through the SLIS website to learn ways to be involved in the school. The more you know, the better you will understand your options. Contact the SLIS Office or any of the faculty with questions.

SLIS Student Organizations
Student organizations provide networking, scholarship, conference, and job placement information. (SLIS Student Groups receive funding support from the School through Sarah Burton, Director of Finance.)
In addition to the SLIS student chapters of professional associations, Indiana University has a Graduate and Professional Student Organization (GPSO). Students may also participate in a number of other professional groups.
