How to mount Iris as a local drive

Windows:

• Double click "My Computer"
• Select "Tools" from the Menubar
• Select "Map Network Drive"
• The "Drive:" dropdown can be whaever you like
• Type "\\maxixe.slis.indiana.edu\username*" in the "Folder" text box
• Click "Finish"

• From Finder, in the Menubar, select "Go"
• Select "Connect to Server" ("command k" is the keyboard shortcut)
• type "smb://maxixe.slis.indiana.edu/usename*" in the "Server Address" text box
• Click Connect

*Where username is your IU Network ID
You must be on the SLIS workstation to mount your Unix home directory
