Is there a Unix (Iris), OS X, or Windows disk quota?

Unix (Iris):
User accounts on Iris are expected to remain under 500MB. IF you pass 500MB:

• You may receive a request to trim your account size from root
• If you pass 1GB, you may receive system level warnings
• If you are over 1GB for one week, or if you pass 2GB; you will no longer be able to write to the disk. You will need to get you account back to below 1GB before you can write to the disk

OS X Home:
User accounts on OS X accounts are expected to remain under 500MB. IF you pass 500MB:

• You may receive a request to trim your account size from root

Windows:
There are no direct limits on windows home directories. However: if the disk becomes too full, the machine may be re-imaged at any time, and without warning. All user data will be lost.
